Funeral services for Mr. Leon Gardner, 63, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2007 at the First Assembly of God Church with Rev. J. E. Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery, Linville, LA.
Mr. Gardner, a member of First Assembly of God Church, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2007 at Summerlin Lane Nursing Home.
He is survived by two sisters, Lorene Chunn of Bastrop, LA, Rhoda Brown of Norwalk, CA; brother, John T. Gardner, Jr. and wife Nell of Bastrop, LA and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Gardner is preceded in death by his parents, John T. Gardner, Sr. and Lena Cash Gardner; two sisters and five brothers.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 24, 2007 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
