I can still remember entering the 4th grade & my parents, Kellis & Opal Harkness, reminding me to say Mrs. Puckett & not Cousin Lucille. There were a few times I would forget & Cousin Lucille would just smile. I never see Spider Lillies that I don't think of her, and those beautiful bouquets she would bring to Reily Memorial Methodist Church for all to enjoy.

Mrs. Puckett was one of my most precious memories of school days. She was as others as said - A true Southern lady. She is already being missed by those she influenced throughout the years, My deepest sympathy to her family and many, many friends.

Lucille Puckett was one of my mother's (Lucile Oliver) best friends. They shared many years together teaching the students of Collinston not only subject matter things but the value of good living. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. My condolences go out to her family. Sincerely, Neal Louis Oliver

Mrs. Puckett will be missed greatly by so many. She touched the lives of so many students at Collinston Elementary School. She taught both my parents and my 2 brothers and myself. She was the epitomy of the "True Southern Lady." I can still her sweet voice saying "Hush" when you would tell something that surprised her. Much love to you Mrs. Puckett...we will miss you so much. God had a new Angel!
