Obituary of Ollie White

Graveside funeral services for Ollie H. White, age 86, of Bastrop, La., have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at the Pine Grove South Cemetery, on Highway 139, in Bastrop, with Rev. Don Bryan officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2005 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. White, a retired logging contractor and and member of New Friendship Baptist Church died Monday, February 7, 2005 at Morehouse General Hospital. He is survived by two sons, Gary W. White and wife Carolyn of Bastrop, LA and Harvey White and wife Myra of Broussard, LA; one brother, Bryan White and wife Lesba of Bastrop, LA; four grandchildren, Hollie Ann Brasseaux and husband Richard, Lance W. White and wife Kristy, Lisa Lang and husband Lamar and Perry Book and wife Leslie; eight great grandchildren, Austin and Lanie White, Andrew and Karlie Brasseaux, Lauren and Ashton Lang, Taylor and Marla Book. Mr. White is preceded in death by his wife Annie L. White.
