Funeral services for Bessie Mae Harrell Wood, age 66, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, February 11, 2005 at Golden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Barker officiating. Burial will follow at Carter Cemetery.
Mrs. Wood, a homemaker and member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Collinston, died Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at Glenwood Hospital.
She is survived by her son, Raymond Wood , Jr. and his wife Cathy of Elkton, MD; sister, Ruth Horton of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Robert Harrell and his wife Darlene of Bastrop; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Rickelmann of Rayville, LA; six grandchildren, Charles O'Neal, Daniel O'Neal, Charity Allen, Stephanie Gray, Elizabeth Hope Wood, Christa Joy Wood; eleven great grandchildren, Christian Joseph Boykin, Michael O'Neal, Joshua O'Neal,Zachary O'Neal, Danielle O'Neal, Alex Lapeyrouse, Anna Allen, Gavin Kelly, Garrin Gray, Alyssa Gray and Gage Gray.
Mrs. Wood is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Anna Faith Wood.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 10,2005, from 12 noon until 5 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
