Obituary of Laverne Bonner

Funeral services for Mrs. Laverne Bonner, 76, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Goodwill Church of God with Rev. Jimmie Herring officiating. Interment will follow in Ravan Cemetery, Goodwill, LA under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Bonner, a homemaker, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2007 in Greenville, MS. She was a resident of Goodwill, LA. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Tyson and husband Walter of Goodwill, LA; five sons, James "Bud" Bonner and wife Debbie of Osicka, MS, Wayne Bonner and wife Lilly of Houston, TX, Jimmy Ray Bonner of Greenville, MS, Willie Ray Bonner of Greenville, MS, Mitchell Bonner of Greenville, MS; four brothers, J.T. Sullivan of West Monroe, LA, James Sullivan of West Monroe, LA, Charles Sullivan of West Monroe, LA, Jack Sullivan of Dubach, LA; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Mrs. Bonner is preceded in death by her husband, Pete Bonner; sister, Clara Mae Witherington and brother, Clevo Sullivan. Serving as pallbearers will be George Stewart, Larry Bonner, Tommy Bonner, Kenneth Sullivan, Danny Sullivan and Adam Boyte. Visitation will be held Monday, July 2, 2007 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home and Tuesday, July 3, 2007 from 10:30 a.m. until service time at the church.
