Funeral services for Terry G. "Butch" Stephens, age 48, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday July 9, 2007 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Brister and Rev. Jim Brent officiating. Interment will follow in Wilmot Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Stephens, a truck driver, passed away Friday July 6, 2007. He was a resident of Bastrop and a member of Bonita Road Assembly of God. He is preceded in death by his fathers, Charles Kent Stephens and Billy Jackson.
He is survived by his wife, Debora Stephens; mother, Peggy Stephens of Bastrop; four children, Wesley Stephens, Samuel Stephens, Joshua Stephens, Rebecca Stephens, all of Bastrop; two sisters, Karen Nolan of Monroe, Lisa Crymes of West Monroe; two brothers, Charles Mitchell of Mer Rouge, James Jackson of Monroe; three grandchildren, Gabriel Stephens, Caleb Stephens, Brianna Halbrook; mother-in-law, Jessie McClain of Bastrop; and numerous nieces & nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ron Allen, Mike Osteen, Dale Pumphrey, Shawn Pumphrey, Frank Wall, Tommy Ratcliff, Aaron Cason, and Joseph Davis.
