Funeral services for Thelma Randall, age 83, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday February 25, 2005, at the Central Church of Christ with Waymon Swain and Joe Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4-8 at Golden Funeral Home. Ms. Randall, a resident of Bastrop, died Thursday February 23, 2005 at Morehouse General Hospital. She was a retired insurance agent with Central American Life Insurance. Ms Randall was a lifelong member of Central Church of Christ. She is survived by her son, Doug Winn of Bastrop; daughter, Nancy Randall of Greeley, CO; sister, Barbara "Bobbie" Rawls of Bastrop; two brothers, W.M. Matheny of Bastrop and Lynwood Matheny of Nashville, AR; 9 grandchildren, Melinda Winn Vaughan of Monroe, Amy Winn Benson of Monroe, Kristy Winn Stephan of Monroe, Jay Douglas Winn of Dallas, TX, Brandi Wheelis Baker of Fort Collins, CO, Heather Wheelis Hemesath of Evans, CO, Josh Randall of Memphis, TN, Tia Randall Johnson of Solihull, England, and Chess Randall of Bastrop; 12 great grandchildren, Hanna Michelle Wheelis of Fort Collins, CO, Matthew Jason Benson of Monroe, Abby Elizabeth Benson of Monroe, Piper Victoria Pecanty of Monroe, Gabriel Noah Stephan of Monroe, David West Vaughan of Monroe, Victoria Winn Vaughan of Monroe, Chessley Morgan Johnson of Solihull, England, Shea Trishell Johnson of London, England, Joshua Walker Randall of Memphis, TN, Megan Noelle Cotner of Fort Collins, CO, and Emily Rose Cotner of Fort Collins, CO; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her two sons, James Randall and Kenneth Lee Randall; grandchild, Katie Sears; three brothers, Selby Matheny, Thomas Matheny and Claude Matheny; brother-in-law, A.N. Rawls.
