Graveside funeral services for Elton Tilbury, 77, of Collinston are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, April 23,2004 at the Christ Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Tilbury, a farmer, mill worker and oil field mechanic died Wednesday, April 21,2004 at his residence .
Mr. Tilbury was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, the VFW and the American Legion. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
Surviving Mr. Tilbury is his wife, Jean Tilbury; daughter, Pam Audirsch and husband Keith of Collinston, LA; son, Lloyd Tilbury and wife Jeannie of West Monroe, LA; step-son, Robert Harrell and wife Linda of Waldo, AR; two granddaughters and two step-grandsons.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 22,2004 at Golden Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
