Funeral services for Bonnie Evans, 67, of Bastrop are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, April 24,2004 at Golden Funeral Home with Revs. Marvin Tabora and David Doiron officiating. Interment will follow in the Hughes Chapel Cemetery near Beekman, La.. Mrs. Evans, a registered nurse, died Friday, April 22,2004 at her residence.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald A. Evans; two daughters, Annette Gongre of Goose Creek, SC and Cathy Powell of Bastrop,LA; five sons, Jim Watts of Boyce, LA, Tom Watts of Lafayette, LA, Henry Watts of Alvin,TX, Anthony Evans of Bastrop,LA and Michael Evans of Bastrop,LA; brother, Frank Barbuto of Galveston,TX; twenty one grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Hofford Barbuto and father, Duey Littles.
Pallbearers will be Jim Watts, Tom Watts, Henry Watts, Anthony Evans, Michael Evans, Jay Watts, David Gongre, Dustin Gongre and Brandon Watts.
Mrs. Evans was a member of East Haven Church of God .
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday, April 23,2004 at Golden Funeral Home.
