Mary Evelyn Knight Reynolds, 90, of Atlanta, Texas, passed away November 23, 2011, in an Atlanta, Texas, Nursing home. She was born July 28, 1921, in Hamburg, Arkansas. She lived most of her life in Bastrop, Louisiana, as a devoted wife and mother. She is preceded in death by her husband, R.D. "Boots" Reynolds, her parents, Mallie and Georgia Sue Knight, siblings, Emmitt Knight, Willard Knight and Murlyn Knight Mayes.
Survivors include her daughter, Carol Ann Reynolds Crew and son in-law Jerry Crew, of Idabel, Oklahoma, her son, Richard "Rickey" Reynolds and daughter in-law Kay of Atlanta, Texas. Also surviving are five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM Friday evening at Golden Funeral Home. Services will be at Golden Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Saturday in Bastrop. Burial will follow at Memorial Park in Bastrop.
