William Henry Hendershot, age 58, currently of Waco, TX, passed away at his home on July 22, 2007. Mr. Hendershot was employed by the McClendon Detention Center in Waco. He is originally from Mer Rouge. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ford, Sr. and Marguerite Hendershot, and his nephew, Jack Voss Hendershot.
He is survived by his daughter, Kelly Camacho of Florence, KY; son-in-law, John; one granddaughter, Jordyn Monroe Camacho; sisters, Mary Tawney and husband Bryce of Houston, TX, Dorothy Kay Barfield and husband Tommy of Rock Hill, SC; brothers, Ford Hendershot, Jr. and wife Robin of Idabel, OK, Don Hendershot and wife Denise of Waynesville, NC; nieces and nephews, Karysa Tawney, Ashley Tawney, Matthew Barfield, Allison Barfield, Jessica Barfield, Haley Barfield, Brian Hendershot, Isabella Hendershot, and Marguerite Hendershot.
A graveside memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, August 4, 2007 at Mer Rouge Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Wiiliam's life at 1:00 p.m. at the home of Ernie and Gerri Green, 109 Hidden Lakes Drive, West Monroe, LA.
