Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Faye Willis Laing are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Mer Rouge Cemetery with Rev. Britt Dupree officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Laing, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011. She was a retired Bell South employee.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy B. Laing; daughter, Cindy Laing Johnston; and parents, John Edward and Rose Belle Willis.
Mrs. Laing is survived by her two sons, Michael Laing and wife Jeanine of Bastrop, LA, Jimmy Laing of Bastrop, LA; brother, Tom Willis and wife Nettie of Ferriday, LA; and four grandchildren, Angela Johnston, Chris Laing, Tyler Cheek, and Danielle Kindrix.
Serving as pallbearers are Steve Mitcham, Michael John Courson, Marley Oldham, Marq Mitcham, Glen Matte, and Joe Perkins.
