Funeral services for Theodore Shepard "Brother" Barham, 85, of Oak Ridge, LA are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, December 11, 2011 in the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Lonadier officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Barham, a retired employee of International Paper Company and farmer, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Oak Woods Nursing Home. He served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Elma Dean Thomas Barham; daughter, Mary Katharine "Kay" Barham Ouellette and husband David; son, William Thomas "Tommy" Barham III; sister, Bessie Catherine Barham; brother, R. E. Barham, Jr., all of Oak Ridge, LA; grandchildren, Brooke Michelle Layton of Bastrop, LA, Brandon Michael Layton of Oak Ridge, LA; great grandchildren, Connor Barham Lively, Emma Kate Layton, Cullen Layton Lowery and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Barham is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Erle Barham, Sr. and Emma Shepard Barham and brother, William Shepard Barham.
Pallbearers will be; Don White, David Thomas, Keith Thomas, Richard Byrd, Mike Barham and Austin Rookard. Andy Womack will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 10, 2100 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
