Funeral services for Mrs. Aline G. Hudson, age 78, of Bastrop, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday May 3, 2004, at Trinity Assembly of God, with Rev. John Kimball officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-9 p.m. at Goldens. Mrs. Hudson, a cashier and charter member of Trinity Assembly of God church, died Saturday May 1, 2004, at Morehouse General Hospital.
She is survived by her daughter, Pattie Sims & husband James, Jr., of Bastrop; son, Jackie L. Hudson & wife Teresa of Greene, ME; stepdaughter, Beth Shepherd & husband John of Haughton; six grandchildren, Todd Sims of Dallas, TX, Shane Sims of Bastrop, Mindy Brown & husband Michael of Carrollton, TX, Shauna Shepherd of Monroe, Erin Shepherd of Ruston, and Christopher Hudson & wife Jody of Greene, ME; expecting one great grandchild; and also survived by her puppy, "Dude".
Preceded in death by husband, Thomas David Hudson (Frog); parents, Hazel & Arthur Grant; two sisters, Maxine Straughn and Mary Catherine Grant; and two brothers, Henry Grant and Buck Grant.
Pallbearers will be Harold Hudson, Jimmy Arant, Ed Higgs, W.B. Harris, Hardy Eppinett, John Shepherd.
