Funeral services for Mrs. Lorene Day LeGuin, 87, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2007 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Revs. Jim Taylor and Cal Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery.
Mrs. LeGuin, a retired employee of 36 years with BellSouth and member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church for 60 years, passed away August 3, 2007 at Morehouse General Hospital.
She is survived by three grandchildren, John O. LeGuin, Jr. of Alperetta, GA, Kenny LeGuin and Chris LeGuin both of Cumming, GA; great grandson, Cole LeGuin of Alperetta, GA; two nieces, Jane Lee of Columbus, MS and Carolyn Lee of Swartz, LA.
Mrs. LeGuin is preceded in death by her husband, H.T. LeGuin and a son, John LeGuin, Sr.
Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2007 at Golden Funeral Home.
