Obituary of Nellie Faye Norman Langston

Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Faye Norman Langston, age 87, of Collinston, LA, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Collinston with Rev. Kenneth Ronaghan officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Langston, a homemaker and longtime member of First Baptist Church of Collinston, passed away Friday, December 23, 2011 at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, LA. She was a devoted Christian and enjoyed reading religous books. She is survived by two sons, Jack Langston, Jr. of Vidalia, LA, Russell Langston and wife Nan of The Villages, FL; sister, Mel Behuniak of Lancaster, PA; four grandchildren, Karen Brown of South Haven, MS, Kim Ainsworth of Vidalia, LA, Amy Dusenberry of Kingland, GA, Laura Major of Belton, MO; seven great grandsons and one great great granddaughter. Mrs. Langston is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Langston; husband, Jack Langston, Sr.; grandson, Jack Bryan Langston; one sister and one brother.
