Obituary of Erma Yarbrough

Graveside funeral services for Erma Lee Yarbrough, age 71, a retired cook, of Bastrop, LA, have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2005 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Yarbrough is survived by three daughters, Ramona Scarborough and husband Charles of Haile, LA, Renee Culver of Benton, LA, Robbie Jean Sims of Bastrop, LA; three sons, Andy Yarbrough of Bastrop, LA, Mike Hicks and wife Patti of Bastrop, LA, William Hicks of Alexandria, LA; six sisters, Geneva Taylor of Houston, TX, Wanda Sue Fatheree of Bastrop, LA, Claudia Bowlin of Bastrop, LA, Betty Jean Welke of Hackberry, LA, Gerry Coleman of Bastrop, LA, Frances Graham of Bastrop, LA, three brothers, Elmer Lee Bennett of Bastrop, LA, W.C. Bennett of Ft. Myers, FL, Jimmy Don Bennett of Panacea, FL; thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Ruth Busby. Pallbearers are: David Fatheree, Robert Fatheree, Lynn Deal, Ross Mattin, Milton Scarborough and Jason Culver. Honorary pallbearers are: James Berryman and Paul McDill. The family wishes to thank Dr. Daniel Trejo, Georgia Jones and the staff of Morehouse General Hospital for their special care of Mrs. Yarbrough during her illness.
