Funeral arrangements for Roby Glen Barnett, Sr., 74 , of Harrison, AR, formerly of Bastrop, LA have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at Pine Grove Church of God with Revs. Charles Carter and Bobby O'Fallon officiating. Interment will be in the Unity Cemetery near Crossett, AR. Mr.Barnett, a retired employee of 42 1/2 years with International Paper Company and U.S. Army veteran of WW II, passed away at his residence on Sunday, March 27, 2005. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Barnett; three daughters, Gwen Barnett and husband Elzie of Crossett, AR, Pamela G. Hammond and husband James of Hamburg, AR, Kimberly N. Hunter and husband Rick of Harrison, AR; one son, Roby Glen Barnett, Jr. of Harrison, AR; two sisters, Lucille Bierbaum of Hamburg, AR, Opal Chapman of Minden, LA, one brother, Charles Barnett of Crossett, AR; eight grandchildren, Stacy McDaniel, Kurt Little, Greg Little, Valerie Meadors, Chad McKee, Shawn McKee, Ethan Lochala, Tristan Hunter; eight great grandchildren, Stephanie McDaniel, Kenny McDaniel, Kelsey Little, Kayla Little, Tyler Little, Seth Meadors, Taylor McKee, Alexis McKee and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Barnett is preceded in death by parents, Henry Bryan Barnett and Ollie Odelia Barnett; sister, Ailene Christy; two brothers, Oral and Robert Barnett. Pallbearers are: Keith Barnett, Tim Barnett, Kenneth Barnett, Randy Pettis, Greg Little and Larry Carter, Jr. Honorary pallbearers are: R. W. Lloyd, Orville Noble and Ronnie Harper. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at Pine Grove Church of God (White Arkansas Road).
