Graveside funeral services for Janet Estelle Walker, a resident of Mer Rouge, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, August 9, 2007 at Bonne Idee Cemetery with Rev. Alvin Stowe officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Walker, a homemaker, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2007 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her father, Leslie Tindall; mother, Georgia Naron; step father, Norris Naron, Sr.; brothers, T.E. Tindall, Allen Naron; and niece, Leslie Chandler.
She is survived by her husband, Robert W. Walker, Jr.; and sisters, JoAnn Sneltrove of Bastrop, Ruby Tindall of Bastrop, Susie Jones of Bastrop, Vera Tindall of West Monroe, Dorothy Naff of Bastrop, Joyce Lowery of Bastrop, Patricia West of Bastrop, Mary Jo Tindall of Bastrop, and Jenny Patrick of Bastrop.
