Obituary of Carolyn Campbell

Funeral services for Ms. Carolyn Campbell, age 48, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, January 9, 2012 at First United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Dwight Fulton officiating. Interment will follow at McKnight Cemetery in Rayville under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Ms. Campbell, a resident of Bastrop and a truck driver for Dreher Construction, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2012. Ms. Campbell enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great nephews. She also enjoyed her job. Ms. Campbell is preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Ann Lingefelt. Ms. Campbell is survived by her father, Henry Lingefelt, Sr.; her mother, Lucinda Lingefelt both of Bastrop, LA; one daughter, Valerie Campbell and friend J.P. Halbrook of Crossett, AR; one son, Jeffrey Lingefelt and wife Samantha of Monroe, LA; two brothers, Henry Lingefelt, Jr. and wife Kathy, Gerald Lingefelt all of Bastrop, LA; two grandchildren, Jack-Henry Lingefelt and Brianna Halbrook; and numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Campbell, Shane Lingefelt, Raymond Little, Jimmy Garner, Michael Johnson, David Day, Melvin Robinson, and Henry Davis. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday at Golden Funeral Home.
