Obituary of Susie Watters

Funeral services for Mrs. Susie Sunbeam Syble Watters, age 74, will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2012 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Britt Dupree officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9-11 a.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Watters, a homemaker and resident of West Monroe, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thurston R. Watters. She is survived by her son, Troy L. Watters of West Monroe, LA; siblings, Marie Gillis of Magnolia, TX, Catherine Mattingly of Lake Charles, LA, Carrie Jones of Sarepta, LA, Alline Richardson of Princeton, LA, Joe Carter of Sarepta, LA, Nelda Ronson of Northport, AL, Linda Martin of Dallas, TX; numerous nieces and nephews; and special loving friends, Kathy Lewis and Winnette Bennett. Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Hodges, Mike Jones, Robert Jones, and Dudley Jones. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to Dr. Prem and staff, Dr. Rongaraj and staff, and care providers Jannie, Angela, and Greta for going above and beyond in their care for Mrs. Watters. Mrs. Susie was considered a MAMA to all of us.
