Funeral services for Mr. Paul Weddle, Sr. age 70, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Allan Eppinette and Rev. Dale "Bubba" Jordan officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Paul Weddle was born December 1, 1941 in Windchester, IN and passed away Monday, January 23, 2012 at his home in Bastrop, LA. Mr. Weddle was an Air Force Veteran and a retired truck driver. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church and loved fishing and being with his family. Mr. Weddle is preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruth Weddle; four brothers, Arthur, Bobby, Charles and Dale Weddle.
Mr. Weddle is survived by his wife Jean Nealy Weddle of 49 years; three daughters, Dana Weddle, Donna Winnon and husband Steve,Amy Cooper and husband John; one son, Paul David Weddle, Jr. and wife LaDonna "Shelly"; six grandchildren, Brandon Winnon, Justin Weddle, Maegan Winnon Silk and husband Thomas, Danielle Weddle, Jessica Weddle and fiance Michael Foster, Austin Cooper; three great great grandchildren, Talyn Weddle, Zoie Winnon and Abigail Silk; three sisters, Delores Sparks and husband Max of Caneyville, KY, Reba Parker, Wanda Hawkins both of Bloomington, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Paul David Weddle, Jr., Brandon Winnon, John Cooper, Steve Winnon, Anthony Griffith, Gary Mattice, and Todd Mattice. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Weddle, Thomas Silk and Michael Foster.
The family would like to give a special thank you to his nurses and Premier Hospice and Professional Home Health. A special thank you to Dr. Allen Spires, Dr. Keith White, Dr. Khalil and his aids Mildred Bradshw and Renee.
Mr. Weddle will be deeply missed.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday at Golden Funeral Home.
