Funeral services for Martha Sue Brown Lowe, 60, of Bastrop are scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2005 at the Golden Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Doug Jones and Johnny Barnhill officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lowe, a retired nurse's aid passed away Thursday, April 7, 2005 at Morehouse General Hospital.
She is survived by two daughters, Kay Graves of Liberty, TX, Robbin Aswell and husband Dennis of Bastrop, LA; two sons, Allen Brown and wife Mary of Bastrop, LA, James Brown and wife Sissy of Kelly, LA, sister, Mary Morrison and husband Mike of Fort Fairfield, ME; brother, Billy Herman Chaves of Fort Fairfield, ME; nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, many loving friends and a special friend, Claudia Smart.
Mrs. Lowe is preceded in death by her parents, William Herman & Maudie Marie Chaves; a daughter, Lena Sue Brown; two sons in law, Tommy Aswell, Alfred Graves and a brother, George Franklin Chaves.
Pallbearers are: Jason Aswell, D.K. Aswell, Dustin Aswell, Billy Paul Chaves, Curtis Lee Morrison and Douglas Jones.
Honorary pallbearer is: Dr. Daniel Trejo.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Trejo, the Morehouse General Hospital ICU staff and Wanda Brown.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2005 at Golden Funeral Home.
