Obituary of Margaret Hays Mosely Duckworth

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Duckworth, age 91, are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2012 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 10-11:30 a.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Duckworth, a retired school teacher and resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Friday, February 3, 2012 due to complications of Alzheimers disease. She follows her husband, Thomas Edward (Ted) Duckworth who died June 18, 1991. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Charles Hodge Mosely (Lucille Hays), and her siblings, Dr. Charles H. Mosely, Jr., Dr. Jack Meredith Mosely, and Mrs. Albert L. Clary (Lucille).
She is survived by her son, Thomas Meredith Duckworth and his wife Annette Ullmann Duckworth; grandsons, Thomas Meredith Duckworth, II, wife Karey and son Nicholas; and Jonathan Hays Duckworth, wife Angela Clary Duckworth and their children, Savannah Grace and Thomas Clary.
The family wishes to acknowledge the Arbor and Terrace of Bastrop and Premier Hospice for the loving care and outstanding support they have provided.
Memorials and donations to the Alzheimers Foundation or First Baptist Church of Bastrop are appreciated.
