Obituary of Jane Mitchell

Funeral services for Mrs. Jane Mitchell, 65, of Bastrop are scheduled for 3 PM Friday, August 24, 2007 at Oak Hill Baptist Church with Revs. William Fowler and Roger Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Mitchell was an employee of Walmart for over 20 years and member of Oak Hill Baptist Church where she had served as secretary for 28 years. She had also served as secretary of the Morehouse Baptist Association. She is survived by her husband, Gene Mitchell; three sons, Bradley Mitchell, Kenneth Mitchell, Gregory Mitchell and wife Cealy, all of Bastrop, LA; four sisters, Earline Hogue of Yazoo City, MS, Elise Williamson and husband Frank of Jackson, MS, Fay Moore of Bastrop, LA, Sara Berch of AL; five brothers, Udell Berch and wife Brenda of AL, Frank Berch and wife Barbara of TX, John Berch and wife Janet of Florence, MS, Larry Berch and wife Gwen of MS, Curtis Berch and wife Patsy of MS; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mrs. Mitchell is preceded in death by her parents; 1 sister and 1 brother. Pallbearers will be Bobby Moore, James Hogue, John Hogue, Ricky Berch, Brandon Berch and Joey Hogue. Visitation will be held Friday, August 24, 2007 from 10 AM until service time at Oak Hill Baptist Church.
