Funeral services for Mrs. Faye Morgan, age 99, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, February 12, 2012 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Kyle Peters officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1-3 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Morgan, a homemaker and resident of Bastrop, passed away Friday, February 10, 2012. She was a member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church. Mrs. Morgan enjoyed making quilts, crocheting, and knitting, but her greatest joy was giving these handicrafts to others.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Morgan.
Mrs. Morgan is survived by dear friends, Margaret Cummins and husband James of Bastrop, LA, Ann Spigner and husband Jack of Bastrop, LA, Bonnie Spigner and husband Donald of Bastrop, LA; adopted granddaughter, Kayla Farrar and husband Thomas of Bastrop, LA; and her loving church family.
Serving as pallbearers will be Donald Spigner, Cody Spigner, Darby Spigner, Thomas Farrar, Jim Wilson, and Frank Mushinski. Honorary pallbearers are James Cummins, Jack Spigner, Jerry Goodman, and Danny Crumley.
