Obituary of Eloise Nelson

Funeral services for Mrs. Eloise Nelson,96 , of Bastrop are scheduled for 10 AM Saturday, August 25, 2007 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Britt Dupree officiating. Interment will follow in Teal Cemetery, Huttig, AR. Mrs. Nelson, a homemaker and member of Harper Springs Baptist Church, Huttig, AR, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at Hickory Manor Nursing Home. She is survived by two daughters, Anita LaNell Andrews, Wanda Sue Windham; son, John Fike Nelson; eleven grandchildren, Melonia Williams, Angela Gay Perkins, Mitchell Craig, Katrina Craig, Jessica Tucker, Jamie Nelson, John Eric Nelson, Mike Andrews, Ronnie Andrews, Sheila Bowman, Dale Andrews; thirteen great grandchildren, Brian Keith Freeman, Lindsay Kennedy, Laken Blakely, Kirsty Craig, Tyler Craig, Stephanie Craig, Robert Odell, Tammy Freeman, Dakota Tucker, Nathan Nelson, Clarisa Nelson, Mason Thompson and Colton Perkins. Mrs. Nelson is preceded in death by her husband, John Lee Nelson; Parents, Julius Augustus and Lou Ella Taylor Fike; four sisters, Arline Gathright, Edna Head, Eunice Burson, Marie Fike; brother, Louis Fike; grandchildren, Nikki Craig, Kelley Craig and Kevin Craig. Pallbearers will be Mitch Craig, Eric Nelson, Keith Perkins, Floyd Bonner, Ronnie Andrews and Marcus Andrews. Visitation will be held Friday, August 24, 2007 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
