Obituary of Lena Rainbolt

Funeral services for Ms. Lena Rainbolt, 75, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Central Church of Christ with Mr. Tommy Stacks officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Ms. Rainbolt, a member of Central Church of Christ passed away Friday, February 17 at her residence. She served in the United States Navy from 1959-1961. Ms. Rainbolt loved Elvis and collected lots of memorabilia. She also enjoyed crocheting and loved her dogs "Baby Girl" and "Buddy". Ms. Rainbolt is survived by sisters, Lillian Boyd of Bastrop, LA, Nettie Willis and husband Tommy of Ferriday, LA, Eunice Murry and husband Dale of Lebanon, OR, Lillie Rainbolt of Bastrop, LA, Nellie Rainbolt of Bastrop, LA, Patsy Russell and husband Jimmy of Marion, LA; brother, Nolan Rainbolt of Star City, AR; sisters-in-law, Becky Rainbolt of Star City, AR, Sue Rainbolt Tatum of Mer Rouge, LA, Carolyn Rainbolt of Beaverton, OR and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, S.B. and Gladys Rainbolt;brothers, Ernest Rainbolt, Everett Rainbolt, David Rainbolt, Henry Rainbolt, A.C. Rainbolt; brother-in-law, Henry Boyd, Sr. and sister-in-law, Betty Rainbolt. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from 5-9 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
