Graveside funeral services for Paul D. Hargrove, Sr., 67, of Bastrop, LA have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Billy Stewart officiating.
Mr. Hargrove, a retired gunery seargant with the United States Marine Corps., died Sunday, April 17, 2005. He served his country during the Vietnam War and was the recipient of three Purple Hearts, the Bronze Star and Silver Star.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Pahal Hargrove; daughter, Virginia M. Clay of Monroe, LA; two sons, Paul Hargrove, Jr. and wife Dee of Bastrop, LA, Brian K. Hargrove of New Orleans, LA; three sisters, Lee Stienman of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Linda Higginbotham of Houston, TX, Ginell Cooper of Alexandria, LA; half brother, Roy Burgess of Shreveport, LA; three grandchildren, Paul D. Hargrove III, Trina Ann Ray and husband Vincent, Ernie C. Hargrove and great granddaughter, Kaitlynn Ann Ray.
Visitation will be held from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at Golden Funeral Home.
