Funeral arrangements for Geneva K. Musgrove Pettis, 83, of Bastrop, La have been scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, April 22, 2005 at Golden Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jo Ann Sims, Elder Theron Jones and Elder Truman Bradshaw officiating. Interment will be in Bartholomew Cemetery, Bastrop, LA.
Mrs. Pettis. a homemaker, died Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at her residence.
She is survived by three daughters, Margie Pettis Ray, Ouida Pettis Beck, Betty Jo Pettis; a son, Paul Pettis; a brother, Jake Musgrove; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mrs. Pettis is preceded in death by her husband Homer Pettis; parents, Mary Catherine and M. Ezell Musgrove; sisters, Pearlene Musgrove Mardis, Genova Faye Musgrove; brothers, George K. Musgrove, Bill Musgrove, Mark Musgrove and Tom Musgrove.
Pallbearers are: Charles Musgrove, Bobby Jo Musgrove, Jerry Musgrove, Madison "Toe" Musgrove, Phillip Musgrove and Brett Sims.
A special "Thank You" goes to: Dr. John Coats, Dr. John Lipka, Dr. Robert Ebeling and Alpha Care Home Health.
Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, April 21, 2005 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
