Funeral services for Judith Irene Brown, age 69, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, September 2, 2007 at Hughes Chapel Methodist Church with Rev. James McDill officiating. Interment will follow in Hughes Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 5-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brown, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2007. She was a retired employee of the Morehouse Parish School Board and a member of Hughes Chapel Methodist Church.
She is survived by her sister, Mary L. Porter of Crossett, AR; brother, Jerry Lowery & wife Doniene of Crossett, AR; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene A. Brown; parents, Alvie Lowery Sr. and Jewel H. Lowery; and brother, Alvie Lowery, Jr.
