Graveside funeral service for Ruby Nell King White,83, of Bastrop are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, May 7, 2005 at Reeks Cemetery in Goodwill, LA with Rev. Doug officiating.
Mrs. White, a homemaker and member of the Baptist faith, passed away Wednesday, May 4,2005 at Hillview Nursing Home.
Survivors include four daughters, Ann King of Bastrop, LA, Nell King Archer and husband William of Ferriday, LA, Ruby Huber of Bastrop, LA, Sharon Quick of Bastrop, LA; one son, Bruce White of Bastrop, LA; six grandchildren, Sarah Rucker and husband Danny, Monica Thurman and husband Preston, Kim Griffith Hampton and husband Scott, Torre Huber, Michael King and wife Christy, Christy Grubbs and husband Jason; fourteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Mrs. White is preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Jewell Denton; sister, Edna Roper; brother, J.W. Denton and grandson Scott Garcia.
Pallbearers will be Eric Taylor, Jason Grubbs, Torre Huber, Scott Hampton and Anthony Griffith.
Visitation will be Friday, May 6, 2005 from 1 PM until 5 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
