Obituary of Ida Mae Glosup

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Ida Mae Glosup, 95, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, September 23, 2007 at the Bonne Idee Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Herring officiating. Mrs. Glosup, a homemaker and member of Bonita Methodist Church, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at Cherry Ridge Guest Care. She is survived by three sons, Elroy and Martha Glosup of Bonita, LA, Homer Glosup of Bonita, LA, Donald and Nancy Glosup of Bastrop, LA; two grandchildren, Sidney Glosup and wife Cindy of San Antonio, TX, Donna Glosup Pennington and husband Rick of Bastrop, LA; five great grandchildren, Daniel Pennington and Kristi Pennington both of Bastrop, LA, Angel Glosup of Atlanta, GA, Abby Glosup and Douglas Glosup both of San Antonio, TX and a great great granddaughter, Savannah Glosup of Atlanta, GA. Mrs. Glosup is preceded in death by her husband, Everett Glosup; sisters, Estell Thomas, Frances Tippitt, Ruth Wright and a brother, Victor Wright. Vistation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2007 at Golden Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bonne Idee Cemetery.
