Graveside funeral services for Mr. Larry Wayne Blood, 66, of Farmerville, LA, formerly of Bastrop, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, September 24, 2007 at Pinegrove South Cemetery with Rev. William Dickerson officiating.
Mr. Blood, a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam and member of Shiloh Baptist Church, passed away September 21, 2007 at North Louisiana Medical Center (Ruston).
He is survived by his wife, Penny Blood; three sisters, Dorothy Williams, Opal Book and Sadie Campbell all of Bastrop, LA; brother, Paul Blood and wife Mary of Jonesboro, LA; numerous brothers and sisters in-law and nieces and nephews.
Mr. Blood is preceded in death by his parents, George and Lucy Blood; sisters, Mavis Lasiter, Ola Mae Snoddy, Glory Freeland, Florence House; brothers, George Blood,Jr., Nelson Blood, Charles Blood and Everette Blood.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 12 noon Monday, September 24, 2007 at Golden Funeral Home.
