Funeral services for Lee Roy Odenbaugh, age 73, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday May 20, 2005 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Dr. Vic Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Odenbaugh, a resident of Bastrop, passed away at his residence Wednesday May 18, 2005. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday from 5-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Odenbaugh was a retired employee of International Paper Company with over 40 years of service. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Bastrop. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and enjoyed the outdoors and raising cattle.
He is survived by his wife, Colleen Odenbaugh; children, Joyce Haney & husband Ray of Russellville, AR, Karen Odom & husband Phillip of Monroe, and Roy Odenbaugh of Tuckerman, AR; brothers, Bert Odenbaugh and Floyd Odenbaugh, both of Jonesboro; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Irl Odenbaugh & Linnie Perdue Odenbaugh; sisters, Irlene Lahman, Billie Jean Hassler, and Ruby Alexander.
Pallbearers will be Cliff Haney, Colby Green, John Odom, Chris Harris, Justin Smedley, Floyd Carney, Huey Evans and Howard Johnson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Robert Lyon, Dr. Brent McDonald, Dr. John Lipka, Dr. Barry Weinberger and Dr. Gazi Zibari.
