Obituary of Ida "Mimi" Gentry

Funeral services for Ida "Mimi" Gentry, age 70, of Beekman, LA are scheduled for 3 PM Friday, May 18, 2012 at Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Glen Hutchison and Rev. Garry Massey officiating. Interment will follow in Hughes Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Gentry, a retired waitress and member of Corinth Baptist Church, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012 in Houston, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rosco and Elsie Montgomery and grandson, Rosco Gregory, Jr. Mrs. Gentry is survived by two daughters, Vanell Carnea McKinney and husband Dean of Dayton, TX, Jennifer Jayne Frakes and husband James of Tomball, TX; two sons, James Carlton Gregory, Jr. of Beekman, LA, Rosco Darton Gregory and wife Linda of Tarkington, TX; sister, Martha Pennington and husband Lurell of Crossett, AR; three brothers, Henry "Buddy" Montgomery and wife Beulah "Bebe", Gene Montgomery and wife Pam, and Terry Montgomery and wife Terri Lynn, all of Beekman, LA; Fourteen grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 17, 2012 from 5 PM - 8 PM at the church.
