Funeral services for Mary Jo Nugent, age 64, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday May 23, 2005 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Cal Adams and Rev. Al Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Nugent, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Saturday May 21, 2005 at Morehouse General Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday from 6-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Nugent; daughter, Kim Nugent Crnkovic & husband Scott of Bastrop; sister, Ormolu Napper & husband Robert of Shreveport; two grandchildren, Jonathan and Amelia, both of Bastrop; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Nugent is preceded in death by her parents, J.D. "Pete" Arthur & Vista Arthur.
Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Crnkovic, Lynn Sanders, Charles Burns, Lawrence Nugent, Kenneth Reynolds and Jim Conley.
The family of Mrs. Nugent would like to thank Dr. Robert Lyon for his care and support.
