Obituary of Martha Saterday Paddie

Funeral services for Martha Saterday Paddie, 67, of Bastrop, La., are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2005 at Twin Oaks Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Yocum officiating. Interment will be in Carter Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Paddie, a member of Twin Oaks Baptist Church, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2005 at her residence. She is survived by four daughters, Diane Alford and husband George of Sultan, WA, Sheila LeBrun and husband Rodger of Bastrop, LA, Georgia Root and husband Mark of Monroe, WA, Deborah Hosea and husband Tommy of Woodlawn, TN; two sisters, Mary Doughtie and husband George of West Monroe, LA, Lynn Lemons and husband Hughie of Bossier City, LA; two brothers, Harvey Saterday and wife Diane of Alabama, George Bernard Brown of St. Francisville, LA; fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Mrs. Paddie is preceded in death by her husbands, Herman Paddie and George Smith; parents, George and Lula Brown. Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Doughtie, Chris Edwards, George Almond, Scott Almond, Scott Poirier and Rod LeBrun. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at Twin Oaks Baptist Church.
