Obituary of Linda Carol Napp Adams

Funeral services for Linda Carol Napp Adams, age 59, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2012 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Willis officiating. Interment will follow in Bonne Idee Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Adams, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Oak Woods in Mer Rouge. She was retired from International Paper Company with 27 years of service and a member of First Assembly of God. She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Napp; son, Eddie Adams; daughter, Monica Jo Adams; and three brothers and one sister. Mrs. Adams is survived by her husband, Raymond Edward Adams of Bastrop, LA; daughter, Angela Adams McDowell and husband Devon of West Monroe, LA; mother, Doris Eloise Myatt of Forest, MS; mother-in-law, Ruthie Lena Adams of Bastrop, LA; brother, Daniel Napp of Morton, MS; and two grandsons, Joshua McDowell and Zachary McDowell. Serving as pallbearers will be Bill Price, Joshua McDowell, Zachary McDowell, Grady Rinehart, Quinton Mewborn, and Darrell McKoin.
