Obituary of Mildred Maxine Woodall Hunter Farrar

Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Maxine Woodall Hunter Farrar, age 75, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. James Moffett officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Farrar, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Monday, June 4, 2012 at her residence. She was a retired bookkeeper. Mrs. Farrar was a lifetime member of Pine Grove Baptist Church where she was very active in church activities. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Edward Hunter; husband, Ernest "Bo" Farrar; parents, Calvin Millard Woodall and Gladys Lavern Braswell Woodall; and sister, Laura Kathleen Courson. Mrs. Farrar is survived by her daughters, Pam Aulds and husband Wesley of Bastrop, LA, Karen Dew of Capon Bridge, WV; son, Steve Hunter and wife Elaine of Gilbert, LA; two stepsons, Ted Farrar and wife Debra of Bastrop, LA, and Ernie Farrar and wife Brenda of Bastrop, LA; brothers, Troy Woodall and wife Hazel of West Monroe, LA, and James Woodall and wife Sherry of West Monroe, LA; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Wesley Edward Aulds, Calvin Woodall, Terry Hunter, Danny Courson, Jackie Courson, and Tommy Braswell.
