Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Virginia Muriel Vail Finney, 85, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, October 13, 2007 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Cal Adams officiating.
Mrs. Finney, a Bookkeeper and Secretary, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at the LeGrand Healthcare Center. She was a member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church and a resident of Bastrop for 40 years.
She is survived by daughter, Juanice Lovett; sisters, Frances Jeffrey, Juanita Jeffrey, Arlene Straughn, Ellen Gregory, Louise Hickingbottom; brother, David Vail; twin grandchildren, Sanya Lynette Mulhern and Daniel Wesley Mulhern.
Mrs. Finney is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Howard Finney; parents, Jerry and Norma Vail; sister, Jean Martin; brothers, Narvin, Marvin, Junior and Dick Vail.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 13, 2007 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
