Obituary of Ruth Lillian Hall

Funeral services for Ruth Lillian Croom Hall, age 91, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday June 11, 2005 at the First Church of God with Rev. Dalyn Helbling officiating. Burial will follow in Christ Church Cemetery. Mrs. Hall passed away June 8, 2005 at Morehouse General Hospital. Visitation will be held Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Hall was a homemaker and a resident of Bastrop. She is remembered for being a talented seamstress, a great cook and having a love for flower gardening. She was a charter member of First Church of God in Bastrop. She is survived by seven children, James Arthur Hall & wife Mildred of Houston, TX, Bennie Ruth Hall of Bastrop, Kenneth Wayne Hall & wife Carole of Bastrop, Jerry O. Hall & wife Jerry of Colorado Springs, CO, Mary Beth Hall Adams & husband Wayne of Royse City, TX, Elaine Hall Taylor & husband Gary of Shawnee, OK, and Marlene Hall Willis & husband Jim of Kingwood, TX; sister, Audie Ferschoff of Bastrop; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; and 2 nieces. She is preceded in death by her husband, James C. Hall and a daughter, Allie Nell Hall. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
