Funeral services for Nelson Everette Blood, age 21, are scheduled for 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Ferrell Bostick officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Nelson, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Monday July, 23, 2012 at Morehouse General Hospital. He loved to watch TV and listen to music. He was a happy person and loved his Mom. He will be remembered for his big smile.
Nelson is preceded in death by his grandfather, James A. Graves; grandfather, Nelson M. Blood; great grandparents, J.T. & Margaret Bostick; great grandmother, Betty McDougle; and cousin, James A. Graves.
He is survived by his mom, Sherry Charrier of Bastrop; father, Rodney Blood and wife Linda of Bastrop; step-father, Tim Charrier and wife Tara of Acme, LA; two sisters, Tiffany Barr and husband Blake of Bastrop, Angie Robinson and husband Gary of Bastrop; grandparents, Jerry and Virginia Stephenson; grandmother, Aline Waltman; grandparents, David and Flo Charrier; great grandfather, Homer McDougle; great grandmother, Jimmie Bradshaw; uncles, James Graves of Bastrop, Tony Jones and wife Shanna of Bastrop, James Jones, Jr. of South Carolina, Kenneth Stephenson and wife Jennifer of Bastrop, Shawn Stephenson and wife Courtney of Bastrop, Sam Charrier and wife Pam of Monroe, LA; aunts, Darla Brady of Australia, Kim Blood of Beaumont, TX, Karen Wallace and husband Benji.
