My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I've known Mrs. Thompson and the Akers family all of my life and she was a wonderful woman. She was always a permanent fixture of all the social gatherings at White Avenue. She always made sure everything went off without a hitch. I know God must have put Mrs. Thompson in charge of the kitchen when she got to Heaven because He knew everything would be taken care of.
