Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Lois Ann Oliver Renfro are scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Christ Church Cemetery with Rev. Jim Ingram officiating under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lois Ann Oliver Renfro passed away October 17, 2007 at her home in Bastrop from complications of cancer.
She was born in Smackover, AR on November 17, 1925 but spent most of her life in Bastrop. She was a member of Bastrop First Baptist Church, Colonial Dames of 17th Century, Daughters of the American Revolution, Coterie Club and a charter Morehouse Hospital Volunteer.
Mrs. Renfro was preceded in death by her parents, Lois and Brooks Oliver; her son, Oliver Rodman{Roddy} Renfro and her sister, Florence Oliver Kirby.
She is survived by her daughter, Rosemary Renfro Brumfield and her husband Charles of Bastrop; daughter-in-law, Teenie Renfro of Lafayette, LA; grandson, Beaux Brumfield and his wife Dawn of Baton Rouge, LA; granddaughters, Leslie Brumfield of Bastrop, Caroline Renfro of Baton Rouge, LA and Mary Brooks Renfro of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by three great grandchildren and her sister Brooks Oliver Hamaker and her husband Charles.
