Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Sylvia Cockrell Trahan, 77, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2007 at Carter Cemetery with Mr. Lou Furlow officiating.
Mrs. Trahan, a retired bookkeeper, passed away March 30, 2007 at Summerlin Lane Nursing Home.
She is survived by her husband, Junior Trahan; stepson, Billy Trahan and wife Darlene of Lafayette, LA; stepdaughter, Susan Trahan of Lafayette, LA; sister, Sybil Furlow of Houma, LA and grandchildren, Vickie Halterman and Erica Broussard.
Mrs. Trahan is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Lola Cockrell; sons, Claude Allen "Duty" Halterman, Jr., Larry Halterman and brothers, Bernon Cockrell and Wesley Cockrell.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday, April 1, 2007 at Golden Funeral Home.
