To the family of Mr. Joe Watkins. I was a friend to Mr. Joe for a long time. My Mother lived in the same housing as he did. She passed away almost 4 years ago. I had just recently heard that Mr. Joe was in Cherry Ridge and was thinking that I should stop by one day and see him. He was always so clean and neat. I remember how he loved his wife and cared for her as long as she lived. I do not know any survivors of Mr. Joe, but I will always remember him as a kind and gentle man, and a good realator. I am sad in his passing. He was loved and respected by many that I am sure he never really knew of.
