Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Boykin Sistrunk, age 72, of Bastrop, will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 16, 2012 in the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Middlebrooks and Ezra Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Sistrunk, passed away Monday, August 13, 2012. She loved to hunt and enjoyed sitting on her patio. Mrs. Sistrunk also loved cattle and was avid about studying her Bible.
She is survived by her sons, Calvin Sistrunk, Jr. and wife Sandra of Bastrop, LA, Bobby Sistrunk and wife Sonia of Decatur, AL, Keith Sistrunk and wife Shane of Bastrop, LA, Tracy Sistrunk and wife Amy of West Monroe, LA; sisters, Phyllis Phillips of Scottsboro, AL, Carolyn Delancy of Oak Grove, LA; brother, Randy Boykin and wife Belinda of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Lee and wife Stacey, Ashley and husband Ben, Brandy and husband Duane, Chasity, Heather and husband Ezra, Jaron, Josh, Bailey, Brittany, Blaine, Brennan, Barrett; great grandchildren, Kaden, Kaylee, Gavin, Elizabeth, Zachary, Ashten, Codi, Maci, Kyli, Garrett, and Skylar.
Mrs. Sistrunk is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Sistrunk, Sr.; parents, Clarence and Thelma Boykin and great grandson, Bradley.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and grandsons-in-law, Jaron Sistrunk, Blaine Sistrunk, Duane Cooper, Lee Sistrunk, Stephen Ticheli and Ben Wachsmann.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2012 from 5:00 PM - 8 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
