Obituary of Zona Pearl Chunn Cole

Funeral services for Zona Pearl Chunn Cole, 90, of Vicksburg, MS formerly of Bastrop, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2007 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. William Fowler officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Cole, a homemaker and member of Oak Hill Baptist Church, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2007 in Vicksburg, MS. She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Chunn Rouse and husband Leonard W. of Vicksburg, MS, Carolyn Chunn Lear and husband Don of Conroe, TX; two sons, James Ronald Chunn and wife Anne of Columbus, MS, John Kenneth Chunn and wife Marcia of Bastrop, LA; three nephews, Gene Pullen, Phillip Humphrey, John Humphrey; brother, J. B. Humphrey and wife Mary of Bastrop, LA; twelve grandchildren, Gloria Culkin, Danny and Becky Rouse, Michael Rouse, Paul and Carmen Rouse, Kari Hanks, Douglas and Kathryn Bui Hanks, David Hanks, Gregory and Melinda Chunn, Amy and Robert Clark, Ronnie and Jennifer Chunn, Donna Gaye and Mat Thibodeaux, Kenny Chunn; three step grandchildren, Kurt and Vivian Lear, Dona and Richard Rodgers, Angel Cooper; eighteen great grandchildren; seven step great grandchildren; fifteen great great grandchildren and four step great great grandchildren. Mrs. Cole is preceded in death by husbands, James Henry Chunn, Jr., Lloyd L. Cole; parents, Chester B. and Emma Humphrey and a sister, Eddie Lee Randall. Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons: Danny Rouse, Michael Rouse, Paul Rouse, Douglas Hanks, Gregory Chunn, Ronnie Chunn and Kenny Chunn. Honorary pallbearers will be great grandsons: Tim Christmas, Justin Rouse, Gene Rouse and Kurt Lear. Visitation will be held Friday, October 26, 2007 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Oak Hill Baptist Church in Bastrop, LA.
