Graveside funeral services for Mr. Van B. Morgan, Jr., 93, of Bastrop are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, April 1, 2007 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Mr. Waymon Swain officiating under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Morgan, a retiree from Southern Natural Gas Company and member of Mer Rouge Road Church of Christ, passed away Friday, March 30, 2007 at Summerlin Lane Nursing Home.
He is survived by daughter, Libby Solomon of Bastrop, LA; sons, Larry Morgan and wife Daine of Sterlington, LA, Bill Morgan and wife Nancy of Ruston, LA; grandchildren, Greg Morgan, Kevin Morgan, Kym Dozier, Chad Solomon, Taylor Jackson; great grandchildren, Paige Morgan, Elle Morgan and Cayne Dozier.
Mr. Morgan is preceded in death by his wife Mary Alma Morgan.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 31, 2007 from 5-7 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
